Poison normally consumes one count and deals three damage at each game-minute status check, and repeated applications accumulate. == Strategy ==
Poison immunity removes the accumulating poison threat but leaves three potentially large physical blows. Its 700 HP and fast interval make an unprepared melee exchange costly. Cold or applicable disabling effects avoid its fire-and-poison immunities; water does not contain a flying creature.

The inexpensive alchemical ring is useful after a kill, but its high enchantment should not be mistaken for stronger poison immunity than an ordinary noncursed ring provides.
