Draft:Les Crapeuleaux
Les Crapeuleaux is an expensive restaurant in Rampart, advertised with four stars. Its 1,000 Au dinner offers atmosphere and a modest amount of nourishment, with no special recovery or attribute reward.[1]

Dining
Discover the restaurant's sign while exploring to add it to city travel. It opens before the city's nighttime establishments, at 17:00, and closes at midnight. Agree to order and pay 1,000 Au; insufficient funds are refused without a meal or penalty. There is one fixed dinner, not a list of selectable dishes or portable rations. Shadowform prevents the service.
The meal adds eight points of nourishment, equivalent to eight ordinary hourly hunger checks. It adds to your existing food reserve rather than setting you to a comfortable fixed amount. If the result exceeds 48, you vomit and drop to 12, the ravenously hungry level. For example, eating at 40 reaches 48, while a second dinner immediately afterward produces vomiting and leaves you at 12. Both meals are charged.[1]
Strategy
For hunger alone, the Diner is a far better purchase: 25 Au sets nourishment to 44. Les Crapeuleaux costs forty times as much and merely adds eight. Commandant Sonder's sells 5 Au rations when you need food to carry out of town.
The restaurant is therefore a luxury visit rather than an efficient source of adventuring benefits. Arrive hungry enough to avoid turning an expensive meal into a loss of nourishment. A remembered four-star rating does not imply extra healing, experience or a permanent attribute increase.
Trivia
The sign spells the name Les Crapeuleaux, while city travel and the House of the Eclipse's takeout dinner use Les Crapuleux. They refer to the same restaurant. The House advertises that dinner as part of its whole 500 Au stay, half the price of dining at the restaurant itself; the stay has its own nourishment effect rather than charging for or reproducing this meal.
The variant crapuleux is a French adjective associated with debauchery, dishonesty or vulgarity, an incongruous name for an establishment presenting itself as fine dining. The dialogue's tres expensive meal continues the mock-French presentation. Larousse: crapuleux[2][1]
