Draft:Temple of Athena
The Temple of Athena, called the Parthenon, is the marble-columned main temple at (51, 11) in the northeastern mountains beside the river. Its high priest carries the symbol needed for Hecate's final priesthood promotion.[1]

H marks the usual high-priest placement. Player succession can suppress that priest and reveal the passage; random encounter contents and initial hostility follow the shared temple rules.
Entering the Parthenon
Arrival is at (32, 15) in the common temple layout. Reach the altar at (32, 3), then search the two concealed cells at (30-31, 2) for the passage toward the northwestern high-priest chamber at (6, 2). The three southern boundary cells return to the countryside.[3]
Athena's followers receive an initially nonhostile temple; other visitors do not. Allana is the supplied first priest, a spellcaster whose low personal melee rating understates her danger. Five fixed militant priests and random temple encounters occupy the rest of the scene.[4]

Hecate's temple is the paired rival destination. Full rank, level and symbol-authorization rules are in High priests. Neither conversation with Allana nor her death grants the office directly.[5]
Strategy
Routine admission is also available at Athena's altar in the Rampart Pantheon. The remote trip is chiefly relevant when the priest, symbol or temple is the goal. Against hostile temple spellcasters, account for disabling magic and equipment loss as well as direct damage; a stolen symbol is a promotion resource, not an immediately safe healing item.
Outdoor re-entry reconstructs the temple; a player who holds a matching recorded high-priest office can trigger the shared missing-priest behavior.[6]
