Draft:Dryden
Dryden the Defanged is an incubus at the House of the Eclipse in Rampart. His appearance is part of the House's paid evening of companionship, rather than an encounter with a hostile incubus.
Meeting Dryden
Knock at the House's inner door between 21:00 and 06:59 and pay 500 Au to stay. After dinner, Dryden has a 1/4 chance to be the named companion if your character's creation-time preference is m, or 1/8 with y for either men or women. The House selects the companion automatically; a preference of f or n does not select Dryden.
His introduction is the only part of the service specific to him. There is no monster to attack or steal from, and the visit applies no incubus attack or level drain. You receive the same recovery, experience and current-Constitution benefit as with the other named companions, followed by the shared morning time jump. His name gives no reason to seek a different companion for better rewards.
