A potion of curing removes disease and blindness and reduces poisoning. It does not restore HP, so a badly injured character may need healing as well.[1]
Generation
Curing belongs to the item-level-1 ordinary potion pool and can appear at the pawn shop or through acquirement. Ambrosias can transform denebian slime into a blessed copy, normally for 40 Au. The resulting positive enchantment does not itself strengthen the cure.[2][3][4][5][6]

Poison cannot be reduced below zero. If none of the curable conditions is present, noncursed drinking produces no useful change and still consumes the potion. Enchantment does not strengthen curing, and curse magnitude does not increase the disease inflicted. Disease interferes with ordinary periodic HP recovery until it is removed or expires.
The curing effect does not automatically identify the potion type. Distinct messages about disease, blindness or poison can support an inference, but an uneventful drink while healthy is ambiguous. Type knowledge and the state of the particular bottle should be established before relying on it.[8][9]
Strategy
This is a useful general recovery potion when several adverse conditions coincide. Blessing is particularly helpful against a moderate poison load, while neutralize poison is more decisive for very heavy poisoning. Healing removes blindness as well, but does not cure disease or poisoning.
Removing disease also restores access to normal periodic healing, making curing valuable between fights. The cure spell offers the uncursed-strength effect when available. Keep a bottle accessible: blindness prevents reading a curative or escape scroll but does not prevent drinking this potion.
