The amulet is a normally reachable item-level-1 random result. It starts eligible for unique generation; once ordinary generation creates it, that route blocks further copies. It is not in the repeatable random monster-possession pool. New copies are unidentified and neutral. Yendor is already powerless in its original definition, rather than an otherwise functional artifact that has been disenchanted. Leave it behind unless you deliberately want to keep it as a collectible.
