Draft:Whorfen
Whorfen is the village at world coordinate (20, 41), near the southern river and swamp. It contains the Voidstone, whose negation can clear harmful conditions while also destroying useful equipment powers.[1]
Arrival and village
Arrival is at (2, 2). The 64 by 16 village is threaded with water and hedges, with countryside exits along open boundary cells. All five shared services occupy its 24 shuffled door sites. There are no fixed guards, horses, merchant or grain stores.[2]

The stone is the grey, uninteresting rock, not the opaline Mindstone of Thaumaris.[3]
Voidstone
Agreeing to touch the rock sets mana to zero, removes and reapplies equipment use around the changes, clears every timed status slot, and resets each object in the accessible inventory to no blessing, no enchantment and no use effect. Items in the backpack are not stripped.[4]
This clears beneficial status as well as poison, disease or negative protection. It is not a universal character reset: the stone does not directly restore HP, attribute values or maximum HP. It also leaves other item data, including charge and special weapon attack identity, intact.[4]
That distinction can be dangerous. A stripped Firestar can retain its player-centered fireball attack while losing its fire immunity; a stripped Victrix can retain its spirit-destroying attack while losing equipment immunities. Removing and reapplying equipment can itself invoke that equipment's effects.[5][4]
Strategy
Use targeted treatment when it can solve the problem without sacrificing equipment. Before using the Voidstone, move valuables into the backpack where possible; cursed equipped objects may prevent that preparation. Do not assume the item's unchanged name means its protections survived. This site's scope differs from the attribute stones, whose black glow destroys backpack contents instead.
Leaving and entering from the countryside rebuilds Whorfen. Do not leave valued objects on the village floor as a storage substitute during an outdoor trip.[6]
