Draft:Star View
Star View is the northeastern village of LOCUS, at world coordinate (56, 5). Its Lawstone offers an increase to maximum Constitution, and nearby Star Peak gives its location particular relevance to lawful adventurers.[1]

The complete 64 by 16 layout of Star View is shown below; @ marks arrival at (0, 6).
These are spoiler maps. Coordinates are (column, row), starting at zero. Letters and highlighted symbols are article keys for sites and initial placements, not a literal game screenshot or a promise that a creature remains there.

Arrival and services
The countryside road ends at Star View. Arrival is at village coordinate (0, 6), among four western exits at x=0, y=4-7. The village has all five shared village services, placed among 24 possible doorways.[3]
| Fixed feature | Village position or count |
|---|---|
| Lawstone | (61, 13), southeastern corner |
| Merchant | (37, 3) |
| Horses | Three, in the northern stable area |
| Grain sites | Six, each initially holding ten grain objects |
| Guardsmen | Eleven |
Two concealed sirens lie among the northern grain stores, at (46, 1) and (48, 1). Six sheep also occupy the commons area.[4]
Lawstone
The blue-green feldspar stele draws attention toward Star Peak to the northeast. Touching it begins or continues the attribute-stone cycle. Lawful alignment accelerates its progress, but neither lawful alignment nor a visit guarantees a beneficial result. The cosmic glow raises maximum Constitution by up to ten, capped at 30 unless already higher; current Constitution is unchanged.[5]
Strategy
Star View is a useful supply stop near Star Peak, not a guarantee that the peak is safe. Find its healer and tavern before working with the Lawstone: the cycle can cause disease, reduce HP to one, destroy a backpack or teleport you away. The merchant and grain provide a possible route to a mount, but crossing the granary alarms can turn a provisioning trip into a fight.
Return through the western exits. A new outdoor visit rebuilds the village, while the Lawstone retains its progress; see revisiting villages.[6]
