Gorgar the Equipped is a centaur working at the House of the Eclipse in Rampart. He is introduced as one of the House's male companions after the customer's dinner.[1]

The encounter requires a paid 500 Au stay, obtained by knocking at the inner door between 21:00 and 06:59. A character who selected m during creation has a 1/4 chance to meet Gorgar per stay; y for either men or women gives 1/8. You cannot request him by name. Neither f nor n selects this encounter.
Despite the epithet, Gorgar does not offer equipment or carry a stealable inventory in this scene. He is a narrative companion, with the House's ordinary rewards and overnight time change. Drawing his name has no effect on the price or the current-Constitution bonus.
Gorgar also occurs in the game's pool of random personal names. An unrelated creature called Gorgar is not evidence that this employee has left the House or acquired that creature's abilities.[2][3][4]
