Pecan twirls are ordinary food providing four food points per inventory unit. They are a moderate snack with no separate medicinal effect.[1]
Generation
Pecan twirls are item-level-2 random food, possible in pawn-shop stock and through noncursed acquirement. Ordinary copies are unblessed, with the fixed appearance of sweet nutty-smelling disks.[2]
Description
Eating consumes one unit and adds four reserve points, clamping a negative result to zero. Blessing and cursing do not change its nourishment. The cursed name contains an underscore, but this spelling does not denote a different item or a harmful eating effect.[3]
Start at reserve 44 or below to avoid overeating. Pecan twirls also work as normal food for a hungry non-horse creature when greed or need does not take priority.[4]
Strategy
Pecan twirls can fill the four-point gap between a Diner meal and the safe maximum of 48, though there is little reason to consume reserve supplies merely to remain full. They provide more nourishment than cheese-doodles at the same weight and base value; larger meals are more efficient for long journeys.
