Draft:Stormwatch
Stormwatch is the village at (10, 40), at the western end of LOCUS's southern road. Its Chaos stone can raise maximum Strength, but the western part of the village contains dangerous chaos-water terrain.[1]
Arrival and services
You arrive at (63, 8), on the eastern boundary. Countryside exits extend along that eastern edge and the open northeastern and southeastern boundaries. All five shared services are assigned among 24 doorways.[2]

The water-looking area includes 207 cells that use the chaos effect, as well as ordinary water. Appearance alone does not establish the safety of a crossing.[3]
Chaos stone
The black marble menhir is veined with gold. Touching it advances the attribute-stone cycle, with additional progress for chaotic characters. The cosmic glow increases maximum Strength by up to ten, normally capped at 30, without increasing current Strength. Lawful or neutral characters are not prohibited from trying it.[4]
Strategy
Treat the journey across the village and the stone's own cycle as separate hazards. Reach the services first and plan a safe return from the western stone; a harmful glow can leave very little margin for a dangerous crossing. The shared cycle can destroy backpack contents or send you away, so neither carrying everything nor leaving everything on a village floor is a reliable storage plan.
Leave by the open countryside boundary. Re-entering rebuilds population and supplies, but does not reset Chaos-stone progress.[5]
