Twinkies are ordinary food providing two food points per inventory unit. They are a small snack rather than a substantial travelling meal.[1]
Generation
Twinkies are item-level-2 random food, possible in pawn-shop stock and through noncursed acquirement. Ordinary copies are unblessed. Their fixed unidentified appearance is strange foamy cylinders.[2]
Description
Eat consumes one unit and adds two reserve points, clamping a negative result to zero. Blessing, cursing and the random taste message do not change that nourishment. A reserve of 46 or below before eating avoids overeating.[3]
They can satisfy an ordinary hungry non-horse creature through feeding, unless a treasure demand takes priority.[4]
Strategy
Use twinkies for a small top-up or a food gift when more useful supplies should be preserved. A jelly baby supplies the same nourishment at half the weight; a pizza supplies four times as much at the same weight as twinkies. Eat or give away inefficient snacks first when reducing pack load matters.
